Hello there morgan who is 8 years old.
We live in our $2000 rv which when we lost our house have to live in now. Its better than being homeless you litle snot nose kid. What do you know about being homeless, if u were homeless how could you access the internet?
RV's and motorhome life is a lifestyle choice, just like living in a house. Some houses are nicer than others, just like a motorhome, its on wheels not like a house We are glad you are voicing your opinion, thats what the good old usa is all about. Someday you will own a motorhome and take your family for a nice road trip in america too. We wish you luck morgan and try not to be so judgemental ok

We live in Calgary, we just went down to Great Falls Montana and bought a new travel trailer. With the almost even dollar for dollar exchange rate, I think we saved about $3000 CDN even after we had the appliances CSA approved here in Calgary.

We to went up to BC and shopped in Canada for our Mallard travel trailer. Same model, same options, same price but only in Canadian dollars. Saved about $3,000 USD. Got the tax back too. $3000 is a lot of money to waste on our greedy US based dealers

I can see we should suppor our local dealers here stateside when it comes down to a few dollars. But if we can save thousands like we did a few years ago up in Vancouver...why not!
We picked the same fleetwood motorhome, same options, colors, motor, chassis...a carbon copy and saved over $11,000 USD after all was said and done compared to the best price we could find here in Seattle.
All you RV buyers who buy in Washington State are morons with to much money to spend for no good reason...Go up to Canada and get the best deal possible.

It sure it true. Last year we priced out a new 5th wheel trailer at our local dealer here in Denver. We did some research for the same exact model up in Calgary Alberta Canada. Same everything-options-lenth specs etc.
The dealer up in canada beat the hell out of our local guy for the same unit saving us about $5,800 USD!!
It was sure worth the holiday trip up to the friendly country of Canada. I advise all buyers of new units to make sure you do your homework in Canada before buying from our bloated dealers here stateside

We live in Syracuse NY and we too bought a new trailer up in Ontario Canada.
Yes we too found the same model, same size, same options and built in the USA in Indiana. The price converted into US Dollars was about $6,000 less up in Canada than at our local dealership here in New York. Damned if I'm ever going to buy a big ticket item here stateside again! Next time I look for a larger trailer I will consider a Canadian Made unit and probably save even more!

We are from Portland and we bought a brand new Nash trailer in Langley Vancouver Canada. Our price we ended up buying it for was about $8800 USD less than what the best price was down here in Oregon!
We sure like that canadian dollar down here, it's well worth the drive up to canada thats for sure. Bringing it back was no problem, all we had to do was a gas certification for $50 in order to get registration and licence plates.
GO CANADA GO!!

It is the same model, same color, same options, nothing is different except the certification sticker.
$9,000 USD difference! Why are us americans so dumb and not buy the same unit if Canada?

Whats all the bunk on the exchange rate between our Greenback vs the Canadian Dollar anyways?
If your an american, why can't you go up to Canada and buy the same rv made in Indiana and bring it back to the states and register it here?
Is there some kinda law against that? If not I'm headin up to Calgary Alberta to buy a 29 foot Flagstaff 5th wheel and save about $9,000 USD!
Help me figure this one out PLEASE!
Donald, Post Falls Idaho
