hello my 1985 Chieftain was backfireing when both gas tank were full I found that the Fuel return was going back to only one tank,its suppost to go back to the tank your drawing out of ,I replaced the ele. fuel tank switch over valve for the main and #2 tank, replace the vented gas caps and it stopped flooding the motor and backfireing out the tail pipe also check for a vacuum leak around the carb ,just spray wd-40 around the carb base and vacuum line going the carb-distributor hope this helps it did for me ,help the gas mileage too good luck wolfman

Richard, HWH offers stronger springs for the jacks. I fought mine and then called customer service. It cost me about $30 and they were easy to replace. I also carry a long stick to assist the jack retraction "if" it doesn't come up again. Call HWH. Good luck.

Have a 2001 Winnebaga Chieftain Motorhome The Auto leveling Jack on the Rt rear will come down but won't go back up. Have tried lubricating it, makes no difference. Any suggestions?

My 1973 Winnebago Chieftain will only work from Mains without the earth. It blows the house fuse if I connect the earth. Please can you tell me where I can get a wiring diagram for it. Thank you.

My 1977 Itasca A class suncruiser has an oil leak in the rear axel, it appears to be coming out of the top end of the axle breather axle hose. how do I fix this?

i did a tune up and replaced choke cable and seemed to fix my rough idle, however mine did't backfire
