i bought a 1976 gmc shasta and the radio wires to the camper are gone i need to rewire them so i can connect a new radio how do i do that

daniboy, i wouldnt suggest using a bbq tank to refill your LP tank, but you can do what i did as a temporary fix. my fiancee and i just bought a 78 chevy shasta 21 foot with the same set up as yours. if you want, you can do what i did. remove the propane pipe from the back of the stove and you CAN hook up a bbq grill tank directly to the stove, but make sure the rest of the propane supply is shut off first and your tank has a regulator on it. we went out and bought a new regulator, 10 foot hose and a new 20 pound tank to use. i have to do this because i havent had my LP tank tested yet to make sure its safe to use. it also runs the hot water and heating system.

i bough this 1976 GMC, I don't know the brand name of the home part it says MIDAS on the side, maybe there out of business, how can I get the manual for it, 18 Ft. class C and what other brand is simular and also how can I fil the propane tank to see if everthing like the stove and the hot water works, its not regetered yet, have to do a little fixing first, can I take a barbaque tank and fill the tank on the RV.
